Vulture Awareness Day!

September 3rd 2011 is International Vulture Awareness Day and The Burren Birds of Prey Centre at Aillwee Cave in Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare is participating in a bid to do their part in highlighting the plight of Vulture populations globally.  There are a number of activities planned at the Centre from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to mark the day.  The hugely popular and dynamic Flying Displays are at 12:00 noon, 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  The 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m. will include a talk on Vulture Conservation and Vulture Flying Display.  FREE Vulture Face Painting will also be on offer.  There will also be a Scavenger hunt with vulture questionnaire and a prize for all correct answer.
